2. How
do I register for the course?
HP-101 Online
is a self-directed course. It does not require you to register.
You can go through the various sections and modules of the course
at your own pace.
Guided discussions (web conferences) are also conducted to provide
a platform for discussion on the course content. Members are encouraged
to go through the various modules of the course on their own before-hand
so that they can get any clarifications that they might need on
the content. These guided discussions do require prior registration.
While we anticipate future web conferences to enhance the self-directed
learnings, none are currently scheduled.
If you wish
to participate in future web conferences, please send in your
name, name of your organization, organization address and your
e-mail address to ohprs@healthnexus.ca.
Timing of future web conferences will depend in part on interest
shown, thus web conferences will be planned and promoted sooner
rather than later in the event of expressed interest and significant
number of inquiries.

not an accredited course at present. This course was developed
to help people who come to work in health promotion through many

However, we are considering the option and eventually plan to
introduce assignments, grading and fees.

to participants to interact and discuss the course and various
aspects of health promotion in practical terms with the content
developers and other participants. Summaries
from the sessions highlight the fact that it was an interactive
session on the course content.
In future
these sessions may or may not be a part of the course. While we
anticipate future web conferences to enhance the self-directed
learnings, none are currently scheduled.
