Discussion - Part 1
Organizational
Change
Think of the
amount of time you and your family members spend in a particular
setting, such as a school, university, workplace, shopping centre,
recreational facility or health care institution.
Organizational
change is the process of working within these settings in order
to create supportive environments that better enable people to make
healthy choices (Nutbeam, 1998).
The following
example illustrates the ways in which health promotion organizational
change can help to build supportive environments.
